Program Overview
- Supply Chain Management program meets the complex industryโs current needs for skilled professionals. Students attend courses designed to provide a solid skills base in all the components of a Supply Chain Management as well as providing valuable skills and knowledge in the business aspects such as: Communication & Negotiation, Business Ethics, Digital Business & E-Commerce and Project Management. Supply Chain Management is a broad term that includes a variety of roles and functions such as; operations, purchasing, warehousing, distribution and logistics. The needs and diversity of roles can also depend on the industry, when it comes to the daily responsibilities of a Supply Chain professional. It has been said that Supply Chain Management specialists are the glue that holds a business together. Now more than ever with the current global conditions due to the Pandemic, Supply Chain Management specialists are in critical demand.

- Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
- Explain the key concepts, principles, and practices of management and business functions in supply chain management.
- Describe end-to-end supply chain performance through the development and management of operational and strategic plans.
- Negotiate effectively in oral, and written form appropriate to external and internal stakeholders.
- Explain how to make supply chain decisions integrating consideration of business and professional ethics, and sustainability.
- Outline and explain how digital business and e-commerce work within supply chain management.
- Explain transportation systems
- Describe logistics processes
- Explain the fundamentals of transportation law
- Describe economic influences on logistics
- Explain integrated logistics
- Describe the fundamentals of project management

- English Requirements:
- Duolingo: 95
- TOEFL (paper based): 537
- TOEFL (IBT): 75
- IELTS: 6
- LPI Level 4 with essay 25
- TOEIC: 700
- Successfully reached the Upper Intermediate Level at SELC English Language Centre
- SELC Career College on-site administered English language
- Participants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons (as designated under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act) entitled to work in Canada.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old, have a Social Insurance Number (SIN) and either:
- Unemployed or employed (part-time, seasonal or casual) and seeking training to obtain a new job in the community; or
- Precariously employed (employed but at risk of losing a job and in need of training for a new job)

- Students must successfully attend and complete all courses and successfully complete their Work Experience
- Students must achieve a minimum pass rate of 50% on all Final Exams and projects.
- Students must also maintain a minimum of 80% attendance throughout the duration of each course in the program.
- Students are expected to complete all course exams, quizzes and assignments, as well as participate in all discussions and activities.
- Students must complete the assigned co-op report to be submitted one-week after the completion of their co-op placement and achieve a Satisfactory Grade (S) in order to receive their formal Diploma.
- SELC is a designated "Centre of Excellence in logistics & Learning" for the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation (CITT) and students in the program will receive the entire CITT training courses and associated certifications. Students that successfully complete the full academic requirements are eligible for the CCLP designation (CITT - Certified Logistics Professional)
